PATHS COLLECTION
The path that I am attempting to depict in these paintings is one that is inside each of us. This path represent life, the eternel road. It may be one we have already travelled, or one that we are still travelling. Each line represents a day, or an instant. I try to convey a certain nostalgia, perhaps reminding people of important moments in their lives. It all starts with the canvas. I take Hanji (traditional Korean paper made from Mulberry bark), and give it a new life, creating paths on the paper I have recreated.
